Why do Audi LED headlights turn off when turning signals are turned on?

audi did that because the led day running light (DRL) is so bright that when the turn signal was activated with the led on, you couldn't see it due to the led being so bright and bold. so audi cleared that idea and moved on to turning the drl light off when the turn signal is active for better visibility of the turn signal. Audi was one of the first automakers to integrate this technology, it looks weird when you see it but it makes the turn signal more visable.Why do Audi LED headlights turn off when turning signals are turned on?Because they designed it that way!
