Can anyone give me sports model Audi that will beat a Mustang and possibly a Corvette?

I'm going foreign on alot of these cats Stateside. I'm taking it to Germany where I'm going to live and I'm buying from there so it'll be "ungoverned" the speed on it. Anyway, I'm going foreign on that *SS! I always liked Audi's anyway I'm looking for a sport version that's really fast! People who know a lot about sportscars help me out here! If I can't beat a Corvette fine, but tell me one that can blow away these overrated Mustangs so I can put them to an end on the road. I'm trying to wipeout their racing career!Can anyone give me sports model Audi that will beat a Mustang and possibly a Corvette?Really it all depends on you the driver and your chosen course. Out on the autobahn, an S4 of an A8 could walk away from a Mustang, just buy sheer top end power, on a road course however the cars are equalized buy taking the long straights out , my recommendation go with a smaller car with a good aftermarket TT would be good, but for my euro, I'd go with a BMW M3 or 318i, good aftermarket, and proven race history.Can anyone give me sports model Audi that will beat a Mustang and possibly a Corvette?

The S4 have been replaced with the RS4 which should take care of Mustangs except the new Shelby with ease. and probably will edge out the standard corvette, but not the Z06. You can change your air intake and exhausts and this should get you close to both of the hi=performance models and maybe even the chip but as this is a new model you ll probably have to wait for a year or so to come out. S4, RS4, RS6, any model with a 3.2 or 4.2 can beat a stang. (new RS6 comes with a 5.0 litre v10)

Depend on how much money you have. In the short term an Audi RS4 quattro witha V8 engine sounds like an even match for a mustang, However in the future Audi will be relaesing the R8 supercar based on the Lamborghini Gallardo with a detuned version of its engine go to this site-

The Audi new RS4, RS6 or S8 is going to be your best bet in stock format. However, if you are going to modify the car you can save money and go with a smaller 6 engine and turbo it. Of course you can always modify any of the RS models, extreme or moderately, and produce lots of power.



It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend and how far you are willing to go to. There are so many different options available, if I were to list them all you would be reading for at least 40 min.!

Sure mustangs and Corvettes are fast but they are just like school in summer time NO CLASS.............their european counterparts such as the Audi TT are made of much better material and with better craftsmanship, not to mention they are much safer, have better trade in value and much more dependable.
Depends on your budget. The best bet is to find an 93 or 94 RS2 or a 95,96 S6 or S6+. These are hella fast and can be had for less than 10,000 - 20,000 USD.

Besides, they will handle tricky conditions better such as rain, humid track, slick spots, etc. Many Mustang street racers, as well as Corvette racers simply do not know what they have at their fingertips.
