I have never owned a audi and its very different. I cant find ****Does anyone know where the battery is on a 1998 audi a6?The battery should be under the cowl panel in the center of the vehicle. There should be a cover over that has a picture of a battery on it. If its the old old body style then its under the rear bench seat. There are two phillips head screws that hold this seat in.
