The opening title sequence of #3 is probably the best Audi commercial out there. It comprises tight, panning camera angles of the body of the car. One sequence is a pan of the front grille about 12" away and it pans right over the "W12" marque bonded to the grille.
Very classy.

"1)Actually, from what I've seen, there are scenes that use a W12, and then other scenes - notably the train jumping scene - where you see an S8 badge on the grill. But yes, the main car clearly is supposed to be a W12, and you do see shots of the W12 badge.
