A6 a little more room than an A4 not as sporty but geared more toward the family that likes to crank it up a notch or needs extra capacity 6 and 8 cylinder also available S6
A8 full out luxury and balls to the wall, this is an awesome all aluminum touring car. I don't even notice the miles as I drive along in mine smooth as silk with 400HP and a 5speed S8 is about the same as an A8 just a tweaked shift program and stiffer suspension.What is the difference between an Audi A4 - A6 - A8 ?

A5-The Coupe based off the A4's platform, this is for the people looking for a very sporty, good looking automobile, for a 2 person family, or single guy, who don't need the space.
A6-The "family" Sedan from Audi, it is about 8 inches longer than the A4, which adds a few inches in the rear legroom, which is good for family's who have teenage children, (My family had one, my dad is 6'0, i'm 6'4 and I could sit in the backseat comfortably, with the front seat pushed almost all the way back, and I had 3 inches of leaway!)
The A8 is a ridiculous car to buy, it is absolutely unnecessary, and there is NO reason ANYONE should have for needing one of these things. Horrid mileage, not enough power, overpriced.

All nice cars however one thing to keep in mind is that the A8 is going to cost you about 2 times more than the others to maintain. For instance front pads for the A4 and A6 list for $90.00 the pads for the A8 $150.00.
