They have one cam belt. However they use a chain to adjust the cam timing so if you have V6 it will have 2 chains one for each set of cams the 4 cylinder has 1 chain.How many cambelts does an audi a6 automatic have 2001 model?Just one.



I really can't imagine an engine having more than one. Maybe it's because I don't own any Japanese cars (I hear they have crazy engine designs).



EDIT: To Michael: I did not say it was Japanese, I was implying that only the Japanese would be crazy enough to put two cambelts on an engine.
