What are some of the problems a 2002 Audi S4 have?

I have herd that after 100,000 miles the car starts to break apart. If this is so can you please tell me what they are and if its even worth buying the Audi S4 V-6 biturbo, or is there a better sporty sedan that would keep up with the S4 and still look as nice for 13,000 USD. thanks your help is most appreciatedWhat are some of the problems a 2002 Audi S4 have?an audi s4 would be nice, but preferably with under 100k miles. its already expensive to maintain. u could always go for a a6, they usually same price and have a bigger engine. the bad thing with buying a used s4 is that u know someone bought it for being an S4, with that in mind its almost 100% that it was raced or pushed harder than another adult driven vehicle. going from what u have I see u like something quick and nimble, unique, and luxury. unfortunately not much in that falls into all those categories. The Audi S4 is manual so you should have less problems than automatic German cars. It is also a luxury car so it has lots mor tech that can break.



Power windows get stuck, light bulbs burn out quickly.



The only mechanical problems you would have is replacing the turbochargers every 60,000-85,000 miles, which is very expensive to do.

as for alternatives, I'm in England so don't know what $13000 would get you - 拢8000 wouldn't get you a lot in Britain, have a look at an old BMW m3 or Jaguar XJR
