I just moved out to the East Coast from California and I am going to be getting a new car. Either one of those vehicles will perform very well in wintry weather conditions. Your tire choice is critical. I suggest you go to Tirerack online and do some research on a snow tire. This will work with your all wheel drive system to ensure you have the proper adhesion to the payment. Awd will aid you getting going in poor weather but your tires will aid you in cornering and stopping which are two of your greatest risks in emergency evasive maneuvers in bad weather conditions.



You may be doing just fine but what happens when/if you have to perform an emergency evasive maneuver to avoid someone cutting you off or slamming on the brakes after driving too fast in poor weather. Trust me it WILL happen.



Choose whichever car you can get the better deal on and the one you like the most. Take the money you save and go buy a great set of snow tires (not all season tires and yes there is a difference!)
