What else engine performance wise can I do to my audi a3 1.6?

Hi I have an Audi a3 1.6 sport 2001 already have a pipercross air filter I'm jus wondering what else to get, Is the air filter with the cone better? I so which 1, I want an exhaust will it make it go faster if so which 1? You'll be throwing good money after bad trying to make that small engine make that heavy car go significantly quicker.

Air filters and exhausts don't make any difference. They might sound better but they don't actually add any bhp no matter what the salesman says.



You could easily spend 拢2000 on a remapped ECU, hotter camshafts, new injectors, exhaust and air filter and all sorts of sports modifications and you still wouldn't have the power of a stock 1.8 turbo, and you'd have all these mods to declare to your insurers.
