04 Audi oil pressure light on due to sludge in the motor is this a common problem?

All services-oill change routine and on schedule04 Audi oil pressure light on due to sludge in the motor is this a common problem?the first answerer is correct, modern oils do not have the sludge factor common in the old days before detergents were common in oils. And your audi is the problem, not sludge. (if someone at audi dealership told you that, trust me, it was b s audi has had at least a 25 year history of oil pump problems in its engines. Audi, is nothing more than a very expensive Volkswagen, and is well known for engine failures (mostly due to oil pump problems) If your oil light is on, stop driving immediately, you will save the engine. Once that light comes on, your oil pressure is almost zero. (this is really bad) you need to get to a shop, and have the oil pump replaced, I don't pretend to be an expert on anything, but I have heard of oil pump problems with the audi for almost 25 years. The manufacturer is known for innovative technology, and doing things that dint always function as designed, long term. If you do not find the problem with the oil light that audi engine is going to self destruct, quickly. get if fixed asap.04 Audi oil pressure light on due to sludge in the motor is this a common problem?Sounds like someone has been using a cheap formulation of oil during service work. Modern oils should not produce sludge in that period of time. I've torn down engines with 200,000 miles that spec'd within original build tolerances and had no sludge.
