What's the difference between the 2000 Audi TT and the 2001 Audi TT?

The Mk1 TT(Typ 8N) was built from 1998-2006.



There is no difference, save from the build plates.What's the difference between the 2000 Audi TT and the 2001 Audi TT?There is possibly a significant difference. I know that the rear spoiler AND ESP was introduced around that time, which are both safety features. When looking at TT's look to make sure it has a spoiler, if you want, and an ESP especially if you live anywhere it can snow. Most of them will have ESP however, but not the spoiler because it was an optional recall. Cosmetically aside from that there isn't much, because there both MK1 tt's and the MK 2 wasn't introduced years later. In 2000, the front wheel drive hatchback was the only drive train available.



In 2001, they made the Quattro(all wheel drive) an option, which is preferable for sportier performance.
