How is this done on there v6 engines.How does Audi have 5 valves per cyl?Audi is innovative in their 5 valve cylinder head design. They use the regular 4 valves for normal operation but the fifth one is incorporated for extra power and efficiency. They have strategically placed them in a part of the combustion chamber where they can ad extra air/fuel mixture and aid in the ionizing and burning of the fuel.
