Audi 80 SE, 2.0L, 1995. The temperature gauge in the dash is dead, and iv been told its the temperature sender. iv looked and its between 2 senders. 1 is blue with 2 terminals, and the other is grey, with 3 round terms. went down the parts shop, and the guy didn't know which one. Help! driving to Ireland in a few days, and don't really want to risk not knowing the temp of the engine, really appreciate help.Where is the temperature sender on an Audi 80?go to this site its used by mechanics from 1 man to dealerships a1 site

good luck , youll find the answer hereWhere is the temperature sender on an Audi 80?if you can find the thermostat housing around the top of the engine where the top water hose comes from there should be one there or in the radiator its self...it will be somewhere between top hose the rad and bottom hose.
and the last sensor i saw on a little ford engine was a blue colour
