Exactly what the title says!

I found a 1999 Audi A6 Sedan with 127,000 miles for $4,000. Is this a good deal? The car has new front and back brakes. Everything under the hood, transmission, sunroof, heated seats and sound system seem to work. What's a good price for a 1999 Audi A6 Sedan with 127,000 miles?those older Audi's are an expensive Volkswagen, and are also well known for electrical and major engine problems after 100,000 miles. I would not buy the car, it is likely to have major problems at anytime. At the very least, have a good diagnostic done at a reputable mechanic shop familiar with audi. or don't buy itWhat's a good price for a 1999 Audi A6 Sedan with 127,000 miles?Offer $3000. Get the car checked over, are there maintenance records? It should have had two timing belts replaced, along with rollers, tensioner, H2O pump, thermostat, coolant with G12. Also, oil changes every 5K with synthetic. If it is a 2.7 turbo, I would avoid it- this is an expensive engine to maintain and repair. If it is a 2.8 V6, its a lot easier on the wallet. What's a good price for a 1999 Audi A6 Sedan with 127,000 miles?I would try for around $6,000, especially since the brakes are new.
