There is also a 3.2 that only came with the DSG as well. The new model TT's are a different story altogether though. Can i get an audi tt with an automatic transmission?
You have a few options for a TT with an automatic.

For the first generation TT (1999-2007):

The later (2003 and up I think?) 180 hp 1.8T cars were a traditional automatic transmission (the early ones had a 5 speed manual).

The 3.2 V6 all came with the DSG transmission which is also an automatic, but uses 2 clutches instead of a torque convertor.

For the second generation TT (2008 %26amp; up):

You can get the DSG (they call it "S Tronic" now) with either the 2.0T or the 3.2 V6.Can i get an audi tt with an automatic transmission?I also agree that you get the MKII TT instead of the MK1 TT.

The MK1 TT is 1.8 turbocharged or 3.2 V6 Quattro.

While the MKII offers 2.0TFSI, 200HP with S-Tronic(DSG) gearbox. Convenience of an Auto Gearbox, Efficiency of a Manual Gearbox.

The MKII TT also offers other variants such as 3.2 V6 Quattro,

TT-S - 2.0TFSI (280HP) with S-Tronic %26amp; Quattro.

TT-RS - 2.5TFSI (Inline 5 engine) with Quattro. The bad news is the TT-RS is only available in Manual Gearbox.

All the MKII TT are also available in Cabriolets versions. Can i get an audi tt with an automatic transmission?
yes you can. The newer ones come with DSG (direct gear shift) it may advertised as a manual. DSG drives like an automatic (so much better). You can get automatic in both 2.0 or 3.2.Can i get an audi tt with an automatic transmission?yes y not?
