What are the differences between the markets Mercedes, Audi and BMW cater to?

Especially in terms of age; is it fair to say that it's usually younger people who buy BMW's, for instance? What other differences (not similarities) are there? ThanksWhat are the differences between the markets Mercedes, Audi and BMW cater to?Not true at all. Plenty of middleaged women and lecherous old pukes love beamers, as they think that a sporty car will make up for their sagging bodies and disgusting behavior. Audis are almost exclusively driven by younger, douchier guys fresh out of biz school with lots of daddy's money to burn, and MErcedes benz used to be an exceptionally good car for people of all walks of life until the company decided that they needed to make uglier cars than bmw in the last decade. Once upon a time, the mercedes e-class was availabe in various trim levels to suit every taste and budget...now, they are creased up banglized nightmares not worth thinking about. What are the differences between the markets Mercedes, Audi and BMW cater to?There is quite a bit of overlap, especially considering that each brand has a full line-up of vehicles. For example, (and very generally speaking) younger buyers won't have as much money to spend on a vehicle so they would be the target market for each brands' entry level vehicles. Each brand also has their high end sedans for the older, more affluent buyers as well as the more sporting roadsters for the well-to-do but still young at heart car buyer. What are the differences between the markets Mercedes, Audi and BMW cater to?each company has a vehicle for each target audience. BMW has models from the Mini up to the 850 series. I doubt you will find "younger" drivers in the "850" or even 7xx vehicles.

Benz has done the same with vehicles from the "A"(Smart) and "B" series up to the AMG S and SL series. Again few "younger" drivers in the "S" series.

Audi follows along going from the 3 to the 8 with the TT tossed in. The 8 will rarely be seen on campus except in the facilty lot and that goes for both the "A" and the "R".
