This indicates that there is a ABS fault, take it to your mechanic or service centre ASAPWhy does the ABS warning light keep flashing on my Audi A4?Get a new car you smug git
Obviously a fault somewhere on the system - most likely a faulty sensor! Why does the ABS warning light keep flashing on my Audi A4?take it to the service centreWhy does the ABS warning light keep flashing on my Audi A4?
Go to a car service and have your car tested...Maybe a sensor is guilty for the light flashing
Its probably a sensor that is shorting out did it happen after new pipes were fitted as it is very easy to damage the wires attached to sensors. You need to get it to a garage its not going to be an expensive job.Why does the ABS warning light keep flashing on my Audi A4?
It's also possible that your ABS module is malfunctioning. This happened with my A6 a couple of months ago. I suggest that you take it to your friendly mechanic to have it examined.
This is a known problem with the ABS system in these vehicles.

Hi, I work at a car dealership but not in the service dept. We tell customers that when their ABS light is on it means they have brakes but not antilock brakes. You should take it in and have it checked.
maybe a faulty sensor. it happend to mine and i had to get the abs sensor changed
Fails self diagnostics and needs to be scanned for the fault.
Brakes work just no anti-lock function. The person saying you will have longer stopping distances is full of non-sense. Yet a locked wheel can cause control issues.
Get it looked at as the flashing light is a very serious distraction when trying to drive!

i am a motor mechanic and m.o.t. tester, you need toget the car pluged into a computer, to find the fault. there are four sensors, one on each weel, so go to a independant garage as it will be a lot cheaper than a main dealer. good luck

Your ABS is probably not working but you may not notice a difference in braking performance unless you brake hard.
Your brakes will lock up if you have to brake hard for an emergency and this can cause a loss of control and increased braking distance under hard (emergency) braking.
Take it to a dealer to have it checked out
