What year did Audi start making cars? Are they bad for a teens first car? If so, why?

I really like them, but are they costly to insure, or repair? I have driven before, but it'll be my first actual car. What year did Audi start making cars? Are they bad for a teens first car? If so, why?Audi started in 1910. In 1932 they merged with 3 other companies (the 4 symbolized by their logo) and made the company we have today.

Audi would make a bad first car. I dont know what insurance would be but repairs are crazy expensive even for the cheap '90s models. What year did Audi start making cars? Are they bad for a teens first car? If so, why?
I have an old Audi A6 (2000 model) and it is a great car. It rides smoothly and I hadn't had any problems with it until I crashed it last year. I'm not sure if it would be expensive to repair since my husband fixed everything himself but I think that it is not that bad compared to all the other European cars. We get the parts pretty cheap at Auto Zone or sometimes we order them online, even from Ebay. Just don't take it to the dealership because they will overcharge you for repairs and parts. But that goes with most cars. What year did Audi start making cars? Are they bad for a teens first car? If so, why?Audi's are extremely safe. The AWD system will keep you on the road in anything, guaranteed. I would rather give my kid an Audi S4 then some little eclipse or something that could fly off the road when it rains.

Insurance won't be horrible, I mean mostly your gonna be looking at 4 door cars that get good gas mileage when considering audi's. You can do things like take a defensive driving course to lower your insurance anyway.

The repairs can be expensive, and most of your problems are gonna be with the electrical stuff in the older years chances are.
I dont know the exact date they started making their cars. But, I got a used 2000 A6 Bi-turbo as my first car at age 17. I'm 21 now and still have it. Its not costly at all to insure just depends on your driving record. I love my car to death but geeezzzz did it give me hell. I just put in a new tranny for $5k. Differentials were leaking, new rotors, engine leaks, new exhaust, new water pump and timing belt. I probably spent about $20k on repairs so far. Just make sure you check it out PROPERLY before buying a used audi, bring a mechanic with you. good luckWhat year did Audi start making cars? Are they bad for a teens first car? If so, why?yea they came into business along time ago and no not for teens or for anyone looking to save money. Ive had a 99 a4 and insurance was harsh and repairs were expensive even thought i did them. Now i have a 06 a4 and inurance is murder!!!!!!!!! im a teen and this car gets me in trouble. So yes they are costly but I love them i could never go back to a japanese death box after being in a german car for 4 years. What year did Audi start making cars? Are they bad for a teens first car? Well Audi's are a high class car I don't know how long they have been in buisness but the insurance is probably going to be high. I would say no only because teen drivers are bad drivers, I know I am one. I wouldn't want them to crash somthing that expensive.
my 2nd car was a used a4. it was great; comfortable, safe, fun to drive. The only draw back is they are harder/more expensive to maintain or work on than most other cars and the insurance will be more than your car payment. What year did Audi start making cars?
