What A levels needed to become a car salesman for BMW, Audi etc?

Im soon going to college and I need what a levels to choose which will help me become a car salesman for a car dealership?

Please be very specific on what A levels I need to chose and please do not wrote any little rubbish. What A levels needed to become a car salesman for BMW, Audi etc?It will make very little difference. By all means study something mathematical or engineering-related, or general business studies, but sales has very little to do with technical knowledge.

You will need to be able to do mental arithmetic, remember specs which you probably find easy if cars are your hobby, but most of all build relationships with a variety of people quickly. You will need to learn sales skills too (e.g how to close a sale, and how to get a customer to spend extra on profit-making accessories an options) but this will all come after you get chosen by Audi or BMW!

What I suggest is even more important than your A levels is to get work experience in any retail environment, even a corner shop. If you can find a sales job of any type, so much the better. Ask any garage if you can help out during holidays. If you can show you have initiative and personality it will be much more persuasive than a few exam passes. Don't give up on A Levels, but everything else will be much more important.

Good luck! What A levels needed to become a car salesman for BMW, Audi etc?You could probably get a job as a car salesman without any A levels at all, it's not the sort of job that requires much more than the ability to sell, which isn't something any qualifications will give you.

BMW offer GSCE level apprenticeships to school leavers, if being a car salesman is what you aspire too why not consider applying now, they will pay for you to do any relevant qualifications on the job, NVQ's etc.

Food for thought - one of their MD's started out as a school leaver at 16.
