I can start my 89 audi turbo, but when I cut it off it won't start for another 2 hours?

I've change the crankcase ventilation hose, gotten a tune up and keep a half a tank of gas. Is it a sensor?I can start my 89 audi turbo, but when I cut it off it won't start for another 2 hours?have you changed the Coil? thats the only thing i can think of right now sorryI can start my 89 audi turbo, but when I cut it off it won't start for another 2 hours? Not sure what you mean, "will not start" do you mean it turns over, but will not run? Or is it completely dead? Hopefully the other maint. has been done like change the fuel filter etc. You need to run some tests, assuming it cranks you need to check for spark at the plugs. If no spark then you need to check the ignition circuit as to cause. If spark, then it must be in the fuel supply. Is the fuel pressure adequate? Or if when you shut down after a run and try to crank, and no run, then pull a plug to see if it is wet with fuel? If so then may be getting too much fuel. So you see you need to methodically track down the probable cause.I can start my 89 audi turbo, but when I cut it off it won't start for another 2 hours?if it turns over but wont fire check your battery connections sounds strange but just starting it can drain the battery enough that you wont have the 11.5 volts it takes to run the fuel pump other than that i would say maybe the coil
