Gears in a car are just like gears on a bike, you use lower ones to get going and shift to higher ones to maintain speed efficiently. I could explain gear ratios but I don't think that's necessary. Some kid who got an '08 TT for his b-day probably got an automatic, heh. If it's a manual it's got 6 speeds (gears)How many gears are in a 2008 Audi TT?
