I've tried several cassette adapters and after a few minutes, it goes back to the radio and I am unable to switch back to it.Are there settings to change to use a cassette adapter in an 1999 Audi A4?No, its just like any other tape player. Make sure the wire isn't preventing the adapter from dropping all the way down. If so, the player will interpret it as a jam and spit it out. The other possibility is the adapter itself is defective, easy to try another brand.
