Why does my Audi A4 burn so much oil?

I have a 2009 Audi A4. The car burns 1 quart of oil every 1000-1500 miles. My dealer says this is normal. How can this be?Why does my Audi A4 burn so much oil?The dealers right. Actually it is normal. BMW's and Mercedes do about the same.
