Im lookin to buy a 2006 audi a4 s 2.0 turbo how reliable is it and how expensive are service costs?
i found a 2006 model with 61,600 miles for $16,995, how reliable are newer (2006) models and how expensive is service to maintain the car. I realize for fuel premium should be used and synthetic motor oil is the best for the kind of a car.Im lookin to buy a 2006 audi a4 s 2.0 turbo how reliable is it and how expensive are service costs?I can tell you that service costs for an Audi is pretty pricey. For the most part the actual mechanical components are solid and have little issues. Where you will get a fair amount of problems is from the electrical systems. The sensors are constantly going out. The dealership where I live charges $150 for diagnostics and $250 to have a technician hook the car up to the diagnostic machine, so even if it's a $30 sensor that takes less than 20 min to fix you won't walk out of service with a bill less than $400. Labor charges for Audi Techs run above $100/hr as well. Add in the cost of premium fuel, full synthetic oil, expensive replacement parts, and specialized tire sizes, you are looking at a serious investment for a performance vehicle. It sure is fun to drive though.Im lookin to buy a 2006 audi a4 s 2.0 turbo how reliable is it and how expensive are service costs?Volkswagens are garbage cars which makes Audi sweet-scented garbage. I worked in a garage to pay my way through college and I always scratched my head when people continued to bring their Audi vehicles in. The vehicle is very straightforward and easy to work on but the parts are heinously over priced and on occasion they require special tools for the mechanic and guess what...the cost gets passed on to you! And to make matters worse, the german car makers have decided to CRAM their vehicle full of useless electronic gadget which will lead to even more frequent service. My dos centavos. But if you hate the money you work for, buy an Audi.chucky cheese coupons
Is there anyone out there who could tell me how to take apart a Key Fob for an 07 Audi?
I need to get at the Transponder for a project I am doing, without damaging the Fob itself. ThanksIs there anyone out there who could tell me how to take apart a Key Fob for an 07 Audi? The only part of the key fob that can be removed without ruining it is the cover on the back. The cover can be removed with gentle pressure pushing away from the fob (I use a pocket screwdriver). This will expose the battery. Other than that the fob is sealed. I have opened a couple junk Audi fobs and taken the immobilizer chip out, but it ruins the fob.Is there anyone out there who could tell me how to take apart a Key Fob for an 07 Audi?use a brick
Inside vavlve cover is leaking and the oil pan gasket is leaking on audi a4?
i have an audi a4 1998 2.8 quattro manual transmission. the inside vavlve cover is leaking and the oil pan gasket is leaking. what is the cost to get that repair? where should you advice me to go except the dealer they gonna rip me off.Inside vavlve cover is leaking and the oil pan gasket is leaking on audi a4?Depends on where you live. Cost for parts is about $150 for the 30 Valve motor and about $75 for the 12 valve motor. Labor is about 3 hours so figure $250 or so. Google independent Audi repair in your area and call a couple of shops and ask.Inside vavlve cover is leaking and the oil pan gasket is leaking on audi a4?Do you use synthetic motor oil? If so, switch to conventional oil since this will not leak past your old hardened gasgets as easily. If you want to replace the gasgets, you can do it yourself by getting a gasget kit from your local auto store for about $35. It's not that hard to do.Inside vavlve cover is leaking and the oil pan gasket is leaking on audi a4?Its unlikely the oil pan is leaking. It just looks that way because the oil from the valve cover runs down the motor and onto the pan.

Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?
I would appreciate reasons for which one you choose and or pros and cons to each ones or even personal experiences with one the cars. Thank You.Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?I agree with the previous poster- ifunewwh. I would avoid both vehicles for several reasons. Although the Acura TSX has rock soild reliability, it is front wheel drive and honestly, the AWD Audi will out drive the TSX, especially in bad weather. Audi's in general have horrific reliability records which partly account for their poor depreciation rates- only a few points above Hyundai and Kia. Do you want to shell out serious cash for a vehicle that will hold less than 1/2 its value in three years?
Another factor to consider is that Audi makes changes to their models every two years which means this years model (2007) is already outdated next year. Additionally, take a look at Consumer affairs and read the horror stories about Audi's reliability and high maintenance costs. If you do you may save yourself some serious money and trouble.
On the other hand, I would highly recommend the 2008 Cadillac CTS. It was just awarded the 2008 Motor Trend Car of the Year award and beat out the Audi A5/S5 among many other cars which people highly praise. In my opinion, test driving the CTS will change your opinion about all vehicles- you will not believe it to be an American car and better yet, a fully loaded AWD CTS 3.6L costs as much as an Audi A4, stripped BMW 335i/528i or MB C350- and it has far more interior space and technology (ie- a 40 GB hard drive for movies, pictures and music, built in USB/iPod connection, Bluetooth etc etc etc)
Or for something very surprising, test drive the Lincoln MKS. Super looks and AWD like the CTS. Just passing along some info you may find useful.Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?
German made baby! Audi.Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?The Audi is a fantastic car.... until it breaks. Audi's are known for being finiky, and are expensive to fix when things do go wrong. TSX is also a nice car but is amoung the most religable cars on the road and considerably less expensive to fix if something does go wrong.
Agree with Howie, above.
Also, the initial cost of the Audi is likely to be considerably more than the Acura, unless you've found an outstanding deal.Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?Forget both the cars get an 08 Lincoln MKZ with 263Hp and AWD,don't forget to get sync and all the other sweet sh*t it comes with.Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?
I would get the AudI A4 quattro because i look more for performance, driving dynamics and build quality over reliability. If you are looking for the cheapest to own it would probably be the TSX but the Audi will have better driving dynamics road feel and build quality wise there is no comparison the Audi has the more luxurious and higher quality feeling interior. Honestly they are both nice but i think the Audi is still a step above the Acura i think the Audi has the advantage in just about every aria other than cost of ownership. The quattro system is a Huge advantage over front wheel drive and honestly once you get out of front drive cars i would be surprised if you went back AWD is far superior to front drive in bad weather and good weather and Rear drive definitly the best in good weather over all there is really no reason to buy a front drive car other than cost if you can afford to get an AWD or rear wheel drive car its well worth it.
Hands down I would go with the TSX the standard features alone make the car worth it: http://www.forbesautos.com/gallery/2008/鈥?/a>Should i get an Audi A4 quatro or Acura TSX?
Japanese made Lexus IS350. If you can't afford it, the TSX will be just fine. Can't go wrong with Japanese car. you can keep it for a long long time with low cost of maintenance. I own a Japanese and my son has his troublesome A4 Quattro. I put my money in my bank but he puts his money into repair bills.
I think that we can all see that almost everyone is saying 2 get the audi, the audi is the BEST one for sure. It has better build quality american cars DONT!!!!!!!

How much Is it to lease an Audi s5 and how much is a payment per month in Michigan?
I'll find out on saturday, I want to get one too, i'm sure at least it's like a 600 per month with some down payment :(. I havent' made up my mind yet between the S5 or the BMW 335is. If the S5 is too expensive you can consider the A5 with the S-Line package very indentical but a lot cheaper becasue of the engine difference. How much Is it to lease an Audi s5 and how much is a payment per month in Michigan?I am going to give you some tips in how to figure this out.
1- Negotiate the price with the dealer and reach a consensus
2- How much money or trade equity are you putting down
3- Term of lease
4- Mileage per year
5- When you get that figured, you will have your answer.
Oh and one more thing, you will need comprehensive insurance, and the policy has to be written so that replacement is the amount for what the car goes for new.

Can i just bolt a turbo onto my Audi A4?
i have a 2000 Audi A4 B5 1.8 SE, i know you can get 1.8t's but i was wondering if i was to get the turbo off of a 1.8t, can i just bolt it on to my 1.8 without any big modifications? Can i just bolt a turbo onto my Audi A4?Unfortunately it will not be that simple... you will need the all the manifolds
intake and exhaust and exhaust system and a Turbo ECM with different
injectors and may? have to change the cylinder headCan i just bolt a turbo onto my Audi A4?The engine is spec'd out as having a 9.5/1 compression ratio which is at the upper limit (but with in) for street quality turbo chargers. Most automobile engines in this range can take boost to 7.5 with out major modifications. The set up or compete engine off a 1.8T would be the surest way to go. This includes the injectors, ECM, Exhaust header, turbo and all associated piping.
However, I am confused on this because Motor Trend and Auto World site state that the 1.8 was turbo charged from the factory.

Where can I get performance parts for my Audi 80 Cabriolet? Exhaust and suspension.?
I'm havign real trouble trying to get these parts for my Audi. No where seems to do performance exhausts and the cheapest suspesion kits I can find are about 拢500! I've seen a company on Ebay based in Germany who sell a full kit for 拢189 but that seems a bit too cheap and I dont know if they will be any good or not. Does anyone recomend anywhere?Where can I get performance parts for my Audi 80 Cabriolet? Exhaust and suspension.?Eurocar or German Swedish and French are the main players in UK for such parts. I have been down this avenue myself with a few Golf GTI in the past. I would suggest that 拢500 will not buy you anything better than what is fitted to your car by the manufacturer.......... food for thought !!Where can I get performance parts for my Audi 80 Cabriolet? Exhaust and suspension.?I think LG meant Europarts.

My audi tt squeals when i start it, why?
I have an Audii TT 180 99` model. When i start the engine it now takes a little longer to turn over and when it does it gives off a really loud squeal, Why? I dont think its any belts etc, a friend said it could be the starter motor?
Please help... Dan.My audi tt squeals when i start it, why?It is none of the above. No, it will be the serpentine belt. (used to be called a fan belt). Starter motors do not squeal. My audi tt squeals when i start it, why?Sounds like the water pump is faulty out of skew i had the same trouble
yes the multi-rib belt is slack,it will need renewing its self tensioningMy audi tt squeals when i start it, why?main (fan) belt when engine is off inspect the main belt if it is wet cracked or shreddingMy audi tt squeals when i start it, why?
yes the serpentine belt has perished or the tensioner has lost some tension or you have the A/C on when you start which loads up a dry belt, starter motors can squeal after starting if the dog that slides into the gear on the flywheel gets dry , it just needs a shot of WD 40 but on some engines you have to unbolt the starter motor to do that, get friend to stand at the front with the hood open when you start - squeal at front- belt, squeal at back below engine=starter motor
it also could be Coils Audi TT is known for its bad coils I KNOW CUZ I HAVE ONE AND I JUST CHANGED A COIL YESTERDAY lolMy audi tt squeals when i start it, why?
If it isn't the belts then its probably the Ignition coils, they are known to go out in Audi's, you can pick them up from your local dealer anytime. DON'T DRIVE IT UNTIL ITS FIXED, especially if its the coils.

How fast will an 2001 Audi a4 top out at?
What is its top speed you can get it to? Please help me out!!How fast will an 2001 Audi a4 top out at?130 mph. It's computer-limited, so you basically just feel it stop accelerating as soon as you hit 130. Audi A4 APR ECU chip- how well will it run on stock settings?
I have an Audi B6 1.8t and I want to know how well the APR ECU chip runs on stock internals/settings.
I don't want to buy it and later regret it because my engine breaks down a lot or something. Any help by people who own the chip would be greatly appreciated.Audi A4 APR ECU chip- how well will it run on stock settings?check out www.audizine.com, free to sign up and you can ask whatever you want and people will answer your question with no problem at all. These people on the site really know what they are talking about, they are the owners of their owon audis who do their own maitence on them.Audi A4 APR ECU chip- how well will it run on stock settings?I own a GIAC chip on an A6 myself. Both brands are very good as they've done proper research and development to make sure the car runs right even with the extra power. My chip has three settings, STOCK which runs the car like it didn't have the chip upgrade, PUMP which increases horsepower for running on normal gas, and RACE which requires racing fuel. I have only gone as high as PUMP because that's what I feel comfortable using. Nothing's gone wrong with the car yet. The reason I haven't used RACE is because GIAC recommends to get a transmission chip as well, to help deal with the extra torque. That's probably all you have to worry about: the transmission. I don't know if APR offers chips for the tranny, but as I said, as long as you don't abuse the extra power, it's not a critical concern.

Where is the Oxygen Sensor located on the 1996 a4 audi?
I have a V6 engine for my 1996 audi....the heated oxygen sensor shown up on the diagnostic scan...where is located%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; it says Bank 2 Sensor 1....Where is the Oxygen Sensor located on the 1996 a4 audi?Bank 2 is if you are facing the car- it is on the right- passenger's side, sensor 1 is the upstream O2 sensor, the one closest to the exhaust manifold. However, based on my experience, I would have all 4 replaced, because when one goes, the other three soon follow.Where is the Oxygen Sensor located on the 1996 a4 audi?FORGET about this just now. What is REALLY happening here is that you have a fuel mixture imbalance that is triggering the O2 sensor problem. My best guess is that you are using the WRONG oil in this car, and maybe the wrong fuel, too. AUDI's require the use of ONLY oils that meet specification 502/505. This means Mobil One, ELF, and Pennzoil Platinum Ultra. Your O2 sensor will clear itself up IF you have your throttle body, IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE and Pcv hoses cleaned to showroom condition. I recommend the use of AMSOIL foaming cleaner to do this. THE WRONG oil will have cause your PCV hoses to rapidly collapse, and cause fuel mixture trouble. Once you have done the right things, GUM-OUT spray run through the intake system will restore the use of the O2 sensor you are referring to. IN OTHER WORDS, you must correcdt the SOURCE of the problem. SEE????? There are at least 4 O2 sensors on your engine. They are trying to protect your expensive catalytic converters from damage. READ aobut "top tier" fuels on the internet. GOOD LUCK!!

you can pay hundreds for a locksmith. No one wants an audi. Just do what needs to be done. Break the window. And plastic bag it. People won't ask questions. They will see its an audi and know.

Does anyone know how to work a 6 changer CD player on an Audi A4 Cabriolet, 03 plate?
I have followed the instructions on the manual but every time I press load and try to load the CD it will not even allow the CD in. Then if I press the bottoms from 1-6 it then says error on CD 2 and error on CD 3. Just to add the CD's I've tried are not copy CD's. Why does my audi A4 shudder when starting engine?
Went to look at an audi A4 yestersay to buy but upon starting up noticed car shudders a bit. Any ideas and would this be expensive to sort?
CheersWhy does my audi A4 shudder when starting engine?fuel pump/fuel delivery (lines, injectors, filter). Just use concentrated fuel line/injector cleaner with 1/2 a tank of premium gas and it should clear it up.Why does my audi A4 shudder when starting engine?
Does it go away after the engine is started or warmed up? It probably is not the starter, and it could possibly be misfiring which would require a tune up be performed. It could also be an engine mount, take to a mechanic before you buy it and he can probably tell you for sure.
Good luck! Why does my audi A4 shudder when starting engine?could just be the starter and those cost about $120-$200Why does my audi A4 shudder when starting engine?
you seem to be describing rough running at idle.
a computer controlled car automatically tunes itself up thousands of times a minute. so it should always run smoothly.
if it doesn't, then the computer is getting a wrong signal - or some of the engine parts are so worn out the computer can't do it's job properly.
it could be as simple as a loose wire on a sensor. or as expensive as a whole engine.
just a thought %26gt; people sell cars for a reason. if you had an Audi that just needed a simple fix to run smooth, wouldn't you do that to get a top price? yes you would. so why hasn't this person done that? i'm guessing it's an expensive fault and that's why it's being soldWhy does my audi A4 shudder when starting engine?Probably not the starter. if it cranks over fine then the starters good. the engine could be misfiring or not firing at all.

How much hp does the Audi A4 2.8 liter v6 put out?
Im considering purchasing an audi A4 Quattro within the next month. I am a honda finatic, and love fast cars. I just dont think the 1.8 liter is a big enough motor to pull a four door with ease. Should I buy a new VW GTI, or an old Audi A4?
I can afford either car. I really like the hatchback convenience and fun factor of the 2007 VW GTI, but I've always liked the older Audi A4(1997-2001), and found a clean one for a great price. I can't decide and would love some great input. ThanksShould I buy a new VW GTI, or an old Audi A4?i drive an 04 GTI VR6 and let me tell you that it is a FUN car.....im sure that the 07 GTI is probably the same...now i dont know if you are more for speed or more for luxury but if you're for speed the new GTI can keep up with my car no problem and im running a 2.8L V6 the new gti is a 2.0L turbocharged with 197HP i forgot how much torque but knowing vw its probly not less than 180lbft...if the A4 you're looking at is a 1.8T, it has the same engine as the 99-04 GTI with a 1.8L turbocharged engine...if its the A4 2.8L then it has the 12v 2.8L V6 which is pretty much the same engine as my car......but if it was up to me i would definately get the 07 GTI get it manual too if you really want to have fun!! neways if you want check out my car at

In how many years do you expect I can earn enough to buy an Audi R8?
The price tag is about 150,000.
If say, I earn 100,000 per year, in how many year would you expect someone to save enough? Like, your average spender.

Try buying an Audi A4 with that salary or even a TT. and i still think those might be over budget. In how many years do you expect I can earn enough to buy an Audi R8?At just $100,000 a year, unless you live very frugal, buy a cheap house, no cable TV, etc., after taxes if you can save $1,000 a month you would be ahead of the curve. I would say between 10-15,000 in a year would be phenomenal, but you would want to use some of that to save for retirement. Even if you didn't, it would take 10-15 years to pay for a new one outright, in cash. You might be able to chop a couple years off that if you invest the money wisely. I would say it's the type of car you would have to buy after you retire, once you have a house paid for, lived life, etc. Sorry, but $100,000 a year isn't that much anymore. Between my wife and I combined, we have made $75k in a year, and we live in a small townhome with cars that are 12, 15 and 18 years old, so that's an effect of reality. In how many years do you expect I can earn enough to buy an Audi R8?not too long, considering you dont have to buy brand new and you wont pay anywhere near that price

Can you replace an alternator on an Audi A6 quattro 2.7t without taking the front of the car apart?
Im getting conflicting reports on this one. I realize that the front of the car has to come off for the waterpump, serp. belt, etc. but a mechanic told me he thinks he can replace the alternator from the bottom. Is this true, if so, Im thinking of doing it myself to save a few hundred. Any help from someone with exp. would be great. Thank YouCan you replace an alternator on an Audi A6 quattro 2.7t without taking the front of the car apart?Taking the front off isn't hard, it's designed to come off for engine service. Get a service manual and take it off if you need to.
Do Audi A4's have a history of having alternator problems?
I have an '07 A4 and the alternator seems to be the problem. Really?Do Audi A4's have a history of having alternator problems?Hopefully if the alternator is the problem all you will have to do is bring the car in for warranty service, since it is an '07.
But the first step is always get the problem diagnosed by an authorized Audi or VW mechanic. (Sometimes you can save money by going to a VW dealer to get work done on your Audi since they share many parts.)
The problem is that it is very easy mis-diagnose an alternator problem. There are several other things that can go wrong that can make you think it is an alternator when it really isn't. It can be something as simple as a loose wire to a complicated problem with the ignition system.
But to answer you question specifically, is there something specifically wrong with the 07 A4 alternator? No, not that I have seen, Alternators are one of those parts that if it is not built just right it can give you problems. But if you look online you will see all kinds of cars with alternator problems, even when they are new. Sometimes you just get a bad one. I have seen brand new Lexuses have alternator problems from time to time, it happens.bully dog

How long can an Audi A4 2003 last? its got 95k miles 1.8T Quattro how much miles till it might die?
I dont want like how you treat it or anything just wanna know what mileage they usually die at?How long can an Audi A4 2003 last? its got 95k miles 1.8T Quattro how much miles till it might die?If they were properly maintained they can las 200k+, but at that mileage ther are a lot of things that will need to be taken care of if it has not already. The big thing is the timing belt it has to be done and can be expensive. Also if it's an automatic you'll want to have the trani fluid flushed which is also expensive the zf transmissions that Audi use take a specific fluid which is expensive around $40 a quart and it takes 5-6 quarts plus filters and what not. Audi's are well built and will last along time if properly taken care of.How long can an Audi A4 2003 last? its got 95k miles 1.8T Quattro how much miles till it might die?The Audi is almost finished. Not so much because of the engine, but because Audi uses poor quality electronic components that are usually made in Mexico. The transmission is also below average compared with other cars. Audi's are usually driven by people who think that it's a performance machine. The fact is, that it's not and the people driving them usually abuse them to the point of serious repair work. Keep clear of Audi especially if it's used. If this car hasn't died yet I would give it to 100k before you have to do major expensive repair workHow long can an Audi A4 2003 last? its got 95k miles 1.8T Quattro how much miles till it might die?You should be able to squeeze 150k out of the engine. The transmission is a different story. If it's an auto it's probably going to have problems very quickly. Manual should be okay to a little less than the engine (maybe 130k).
You really have to look at when people are selling them (at which mileage) if most of them are being sold within 15k miles on the odometer of each other that's generally going to be the point at which they start to develop problems. How long can an Audi A4 2003 last? its got 95k miles 1.8T Quattro how much miles till it might die?
It will last forever if you take care of it... if you don't.. probably die at 200k

Would a Audi TT Coupe 2009 or 2010 be a smart decision for a single college student living in Boston, MA?
Looking into getting a car for school, have enough to spend but I'm not sure if it would be wise. Now before you say it's a two seater it has 4 seats in the model that I am referring to so I can go out with more than one friend. And I realize the MPG aren't that amazing but I figured it's Boston and I won't be using it too often anyways.Would a Audi TT Coupe 2009 or 2010 be a smart decision for a single college student living in Boston, MA?No. Thats a stupid idea, if your only at college so i guess you 19-20 years old, the car is expensive on it's own but at your age the road tax, car insurance and yearly payments would be enormous. So if the car itself costs $30,000 for all the costs of actually getting it road legal would add another $10,000Would a Audi TT Coupe 2009 or 2010 be a smart decision for a single college student living in Boston, MA?why do u want to buy a car that expensive for college??? if u can afford it fair enough - so can I....but i still wouldnt waste that much money on something u wont use very often....ive just gone and bought an old ferrari for college, which only cost me 18,000....better than the audi and cheaper....Would a Audi TT Coupe 2009 or 2010 be a smart decision for a single college student living in Boston, MA?Honestly, i'd go with the 2009.

Use the extra money and buy an LCD tv or something.

Is an Audi A6 worth the extra money over an A4?
Just curious, am looking to trade my Audi TT for either. Is an Audi A6 worth the extra money over an A4?If you're a TT man, you won't cope the hugeness of the A6. The A4 is much more agile in cornering and acceleration, not with the sacrifice of much of ride comfort comparing to A6. Then the A6 is an exec sedan, way in a different league, suited to middle-aged execs. The A4 quattro with 3.2 V6 FSI and dual-clutch S-tronic is entirely a different animal. Is an Audi A6 worth the extra money over an A4?My friend has a new A6 and while it's a great car, it's just way too big. I say go with a new A4. They're much better looking than the 3-series or C-class and handle pretty well.Is an Audi A6 worth the extra money over an A4?If you're a middle-aged businessman, yes.

How much would it cost to replace a clutch on a 1990 Audi 90 Quattro sedan (5 cyl, 5 spd)?

If you take it to a private mechanic/small shop labor would be about 300-450, so we'll say about $450 to replace the clutch
whatever you do, do not take it to the dealer!

Audi's used to be understated and classy, do you think they've got a bit vulgar?
I do, in the past, an audi was the sign of refinement and class. Not any more, they're awfully brash. I like the new designs, but i think they have lost something. Audi's used to be understated and classy, do you think they've got a bit vulgar?Clarkson was right when he said they have replaced BMW in terms of the pricks that drive them. BMW's always used to have some end at the wheel and they would always be driven 2mm off your rear bumper when traveling on the motorway. Now, if there is a car right up your backside on the motorway (even when you can't go any faster due to traffic in front) it is nearly always an Audi. They all have that stupid S-line badge on the front as well. Even the underpowered Audi's have the little red S-line badge on the front. There is one good thing about all these Audi's looking so fast and agressive though... the look on the faces when I put my foot down and leave them for dust! My car does this at any speed and it frustrates the hell out of arrogrant Audi drivers. The most fun is undertaking them when a gap opens up infront and you can change back to the middle lane and shoot past them on the inside.
I'd agree - Audi's have lost their cool. Audi's used to be understated and classy, do you think they've got a bit vulgar?I think this applies to many of the so called classic cars. Have you seen the New Saab it looks really tacky as well. Whereas my old Saab was just a joy to look at.Audi's used to be understated and classy, do you think they've got a bit vulgar?it has lost the appeal that say a Volvo still has but in order to come to the forefront at this moment in time it needed to show it has aggressive stying as well as aggressive cars.
few can keep an aura about them and at the same time not seem brash or 'in your face'
best example would be Aston martin who having aggressive performing cars still manage to retain a cool image.

What model of Audi does Jason Statham drive in Transporter 2 and 3?
ITS AND AUDI 8 MR RBL JACKSONWhat model of Audi does Jason Statham drive in Transporter 2 and 3?Both movies are the W12 version of the longbody A8 (hence the L)
The opening title sequence of #3 is probably the best Audi commercial out there. It comprises tight, panning camera angles of the body of the car. One sequence is a pan of the front grille about 12" away and it pans right over the "W12" marque bonded to the grille.
Very classy.
What model of Audi does Jason Statham drive in Transporter 2 and 3?
Its a W12 A8 which means it has the 6 litre engine
The question is what car will he have in transporter 4 ? since the old car is in a bit of a mess now !
"1)Actually, from what I've seen, there are scenes that use a W12, and then other scenes - notably the train jumping scene - where you see an S8 badge on the grill. But yes, the main car clearly is supposed to be a W12, and you do see shots of the W12 badge. But it's no big shock that multiple cars would be used for the movie, and the differences aren't important to non-car nuts."What model of Audi does Jason Statham drive in Transporter 2 and 3?Correct the model is a 4.2 L Audi A8 and i think in 4 its a W12 A8What model of Audi does Jason Statham drive in Transporter 2 and 3?

That is a website that ells you the invoice for 2007 Audi's. Im not sure if you looking for a new one but if you are try bargain around 800 or 900 above the invoice. Try to get them to spit out the minimum amount above the invoice they can sell a car for and eat them alive. If a car is $35,995. Try to bargain around $34,600 and if it does work keep going up. But dont do it in a pattern. Hold your ground. If they notice you keep going up then they will get you to go all the way back up to the MSRP. How much will it cost to get a sunroof fitted to an Audi A2?
And is there a website i can look at??How much will it cost to get a sunroof fitted to an Audi A2?If I'm correct the A2 is the aluminium body with a ribbed roof.
I can't think of anyone who does this conversion.
Personally speaking I would avoid doing this as some aftermarket sunroofs are prone to leak and would reduce the resale value of your car.How much will it cost to get a sunroof fitted to an Audi A2?A firm in Halifax, West Yorks fit sunroofs to cars. They are called Trimcraft.

What is a car under $10000 that is like the 1983 Audi Quattro?
I think its 1983 around there. What is a car under $10000 that is like the 1983 Audi Quattro?the audi S4 and the subaru impreza and mitsubishi evo are similar cars, the quattro was unique at the time but would be outperformed by all these cars which are all 4WD, probably the best car available today and for the last few years is the nissan skyline GT-R it will outperform just about every other car on the roadWhat is a car under $10000 that is like the 1983 Audi Quattro? The audi sport quattro was a very special car that showed that awd cars could be commercially viable. In terms of driving dynamics the only car that comes close is the audi 90 coupe quattro. Ive got a Audi A4 1.9TDI SE, been hard to start the last couple days, when its started the hazardlights start?
Why is this happening? If i turn it off %26amp; start it again all ok!! Please help!Ive got a Audi A4 1.9TDI SE, been hard to start the last couple days, when its started the hazardlights start? As its a 1.9 TDI I'd probably guess its out of warreny (their all 2.0 litres now I think?).
Could be anything really, combination of cold and wet usually gets into the electronics, water on cables expands and retracts with cold/heat and may cause a short circuit.
Sometimes the wifes Ibiza TDI sport plays up in the cold/wet but a restart seams to fix it. Its not as frequent as you mentioned but it can happen.
Might need some dialelectric grease on any contacts that are exposed, but thats just a guess really.
Would recommend a trip to the garage, but not an Audi one as they will sting you, try an independent VAG group specialist, or a Skoda garage if its easier (I saved over half the price on the wifes last service and they use manufacturer parts). Got a full service for only 拢130!Ive got a Audi A4 1.9TDI SE, been hard to start the last couple days, when its started the hazardlights start?Battery is dying, replace it.
Depending on how old the battery is, you may be able to get some warranty credit for it towards the new purchase.Ive got a Audi A4 1.9TDI SE, been hard to start the last couple days, when its started the hazardlights start?take it to the garage

What are some of the problems a 2002 Audi S4 have?
I have herd that after 100,000 miles the car starts to break apart. If this is so can you please tell me what they are and if its even worth buying the Audi S4 V-6 biturbo, or is there a better sporty sedan that would keep up with the S4 and still look as nice for 13,000 USD. thanks your help is most appreciatedWhat are some of the problems a 2002 Audi S4 have?an audi s4 would be nice, but preferably with under 100k miles. its already expensive to maintain. u could always go for a a6, they usually same price and have a bigger engine. the bad thing with buying a used s4 is that u know someone bought it for being an S4, with that in mind its almost 100% that it was raced or pushed harder than another adult driven vehicle. going from what u have I see u like something quick and nimble, unique, and luxury. unfortunately not much in that falls into all those categories. I would recommend a 2001-2003 lexus is300, its a small sedan, luxury, a bit more reliable, and many tuner parts or small upgrades are available to make it quicker(it already handles well) i wouldn't say its better than the s4, but more long term. hope this helpsWhat are some of the problems a 2002 Audi S4 have?Audi's and other German cars have the same problems. Those problems are electrical problems.
The Audi S4 is manual so you should have less problems than automatic German cars. It is also a luxury car so it has lots mor tech that can break.
Power windows get stuck, light bulbs burn out quickly.
The only mechanical problems you would have is replacing the turbochargers every 60,000-85,000 miles, which is very expensive to do.
Otherwise, it is a great car. What are some of the problems a 2002 Audi S4 have?Audi's are quite bomb proof but this is a highly strained engine so check for the usual things - does it have power all through the revs etc. in addition, try to find out if it has been driven hard - look at the owner, is he a young guy who wants to impress his mates or is owned by a retired doctor - the way in which a car is driven has a major effect on its mechanical.
as for alternatives, I'm in England so don't know what $13000 would get you - 拢8000 wouldn't get you a lot in Britain, have a look at an old BMW m3 or Jaguar XJR

Im thinking of buying an Audi A4. They look very sleek and nice, but would it be a good car to buy?
Are they reliable Cars? Good Performance? Do they need lots of repairs?Im thinking of buying an Audi A4. They look very sleek and nice, but would it be a good car to buy?Audi is an excellent car that is very reliable.Im thinking of buying an Audi A4. They look very sleek and nice, but would it be a good car to buy?you know, it depends on who you talk to, I knew several audi owners and when the car was running right they had no complaints, an audi is a very expensive Volkswagen, neither one is known for being a dependable long lasting low maintenance car, they are know for expensive mechanical problems, and especially an older one, parts can be difficult to obtain, and audi had some odd combinations like 5 cylinder motors, and an electric power steering that failed often and cost was astronomical. So to each his own, some audi may be super reliable, but in the end, it is an expensive Volkswagen, there are a LOT OF OTHER MORE DEPENDABLE CARS from Honda toyota nissan, and subaru for all wheel drive with out these problems. Always take any used car to a mechanic you trust, this is the best way to find out the information you need to know. (keep in mind your mechanic works on broken crappy car all day long, if he has been in business for a while, he knows good or bad cars.Im thinking of buying an Audi A4. They look very sleek and nice, but would it be a good car to buy?In my opinion Audi is sleek, yes, but reliable no. Mine needed a lot of repairs. It got to be pretty expensive.

Is this a bad situation? How will an Audi 2.0T perform in an Alaskan winter?well being a few hours away for the dealer ship should be fine if you can change you own oil and there is a dealer somwhere around. this should be true for any vehicle. As for the car in the weather its is the perfect car. the quattro AWD is amazing on snow and ice it is very predictable probably the best AWD ive driven. the rust proffing is also very good you should easily get 12 years + before you see any rust. i would get the cold wheather package. How will an Audi 2.0T perform in an Alaskan winter?I have a Audi TT 180 hp....Tires are critical...w/o good winter tires forget it....also anti lock brakes suck in snow driving...if its too slippery the anti lock kicks in and its if you have no brakes !How will an Audi 2.0T perform in an Alaskan winter?Audi's are the best AWD cars. The distance to the dealer will suck. You need and engine and battery heaters to plug in for those -50F nights that last all day. They run on gas and synthetic oil which will be good things for up there. But you have to have those heaters or the beast will never start and your battery will freeze and crack and ruin the car.

How should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?
I'm 18 and I wana soup up my green audi a8...what color shud it be? what are some cool features to add (within a budget)? pls just help me out here. How should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?The A8 isn't exactly the type of car you can trick out. In fact, it isn't very often that you'll find anyone under 40 driving this type of car. If you want to paint it, remember it is an aluminum car, and not just any body shop is qualified to even work on it. Audi has a network of body shops that are certified to do repairs on the A8, and I'd stick with those. It will be expensive, though. A good color would be green. Good luck. How should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?
so whats your budget
since you wanna change the color
for a halfway decent paint job, itll cost you at least 3 grand
for the car dealer
1. his car is already green, why would he paint it the same color
2. you can trick out any carHow should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?I own an Audi A6 and this is not the type of car that people "trick out", it's a luxury car...it IS tricked out! Most after market mods are going to have to be custom made. If you wanted a car to trick out it would have been best to buy a Mitsubishi eclipse or some model of Honda. But Audi's are awesome cars so I can't fault you for getting one. Just add some cool rims and maybe put ground effect lights on and upgrade your sound system...if you don't already have the Bose system. How should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?
yo man i dont know if your a8 is a 4.2 or some other engine but you can supercharge it by PES Tuning. Dont get a ground effects kit or sound due to audi having a good sound system as it is. The a8 is luxury enough, this supercharge system will get you to around 450 hp and should run you about 5 gs. From saying u want to do paint, house of kolor paints are very reputable and expensive but its an A8 why cheap it? Good luck. How should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?Clean it up. Put a good system in it and some nice rims. How should i trick out my 1998 Audi A8?
Trade it in and get a honda civic. Trick that crapbox out all you want...
Seriously though, the A8 is not a car you "trick out". 98 or brand new it's Audi's upper echelon luxury car, with exeption to the R8 ofcourse. At 18 you need a tuner car, trade it in for a 00-01 audi S4 or 98-04 1.8T A4
Leave it the same color, get some NICE wheels, maybe lower it. A good aftermarket exhaust will bring out the sound of the V8 and improve performance some. I have seen aftermarket front bumpers that will make your D2 look like a newer D3 A8 with the larger grill, looks pretty good. Please dont "trick it out" or "soup it up".

I have a 98 audi a4 2.8 fwd with 109 on it and it failed the emissions test. ?
The two parts that it failed were CO and HC, it passed NOx. I've been informed that it is probably running rich due to a failed sensor. Is this true, how much should I pay for repair, and with tools and a chilton can I do this on my own?
I have a 98 audi a4 2.8 fwd with 109 on it and it failed the emissions test. ?Exhaust may be blowing, EGR valve may be caked in rubbish,Air Flow Sensor may be faulty, PCV system, Lambda Sensors located on the Exhausts may be faulty, Good Luck and also try adding some fuel system cleaner into the fuel tank to clear all of the rubbish, leoI have a 98 audi a4 2.8 fwd with 109 on it and it failed the emissions test. ?1. Check your oxygen sensor (the 2.8 has two, one near the end of each exhaust header) this accounts for most emissions failures.
2. Your MAF sensor may be bad; it measures the amount of incoming air and adusts the amount of fuel, accordingly. It is the black, tube-like extension coming out of your air cleaner box.
Check blauparts.com or bimmerparts.com for replacements; none are inexpensive...all are easily replaced in your driveway with common handtools; assuming you have some mechanical talent...
Do not discount a clean airfilter, a change of oil, and a tank full of higher octane gas (or full tank with octane boost).
I have a 98 audi a4 2.8 fwd with 109 on it and it failed the emissions test. ?Trust me on this Add seafoam to you gas before you reinspect I works wonders I have had to High milage hondas that failed inspection due to emissions Added Seafoam passed with flying colors.

Good Luck and if you use it, it will work!I have a 98 audi a4 2.8 fwd with 109 on it and it failed the emissions test. ?
Chances are that your PCV system is clogged up a little, and so is your idle air control valve. These items should be cleaned out thoroughly with butyl cello-solve and Gum-out. So should your throttle body. After all these things have been cleaned, install a new set of GK iridium spark plugs. If you haven't been using Mobil One or ELF oil, begin doing so. This will prevent further clogging of the PVC system. Also, at this mileage, the timing belt should be changed as well as the water pump. If you haven't done this yet, be sure to use only GENUINE AUDI COOLANT. Make sure that the oil you use has an ACEA approval rating. Good Luck!!rachel zoe collection

You can buy seafoam at autozone it comes in a white can with red lettering
Good Luck!!
Where is the oil drain plug located in a 2005 audi a6 quattro?
please be specific.Where is the oil drain plug located in a 2005 audi a6 quattro?About half way in the front under the car, just follow the dip stick and it is on the bottom, where the oil pan is.
I recently bought and Audi A3 from a dealer and can't find the owner's manual - anyone know where it is kept?
I have had a quick search around the car, but there are so many compartments to hide this sort of thing I was hoping some kind Audi owner may know where in the car it is usually kept.
It's an 02 plate (the old shape)
Thanks!I recently bought and Audi A3 from a dealer and can't find the owner's manual - anyone know where it is kept? It's usually in the glove box, but unfortunately they are not always passed on with the vehicle by the previous owner, it may still be in a drawer in their house. What does 5V mean on the Audi A4 Engine?
It has a 1.8 engine. It is a quattro. 1.8 engine means 4 cyl. What does the 5V mean? What does 5V mean on the Audi A4 Engine?5 valves per cylinder. What does 5V mean on the Audi A4 Engine? On an engine V usually stands for how many valves it has per cylinder. How many cambelts does an audi a6 automatic have 2001 model?
They have one cam belt. However they use a chain to adjust the cam timing so if you have V6 it will have 2 chains one for each set of cams the 4 cylinder has 1 chain. How many cambelts does an audi a6 automatic have 2001 model?Just one.
I really can't imagine an engine having more than one. Maybe it's because I don't own any Japanese cars (I hear they have crazy engine designs).

Is it possible to insure a Bmw Z4 or a Audi TT or a Honda S2000 all 2.0litre engines at aged 22years old?
also could i insure a Mazda Mx 5 Roadster coupe 1.8i or Mazda Rx 8 2.0litre

Probably but will cost you a bombIs it possible to insure a Bmw Z4 or a Audi TT or a Honda S2000 all 2.0litre engines at aged 22years old?Yes it's possible. Prices will definitely vary, some factors are the cost of the car, cost/availability of replacement parts, I can't imagine it being too different from vehicle to vehicle for a 22 yr old.
I don't think the deciding factor for buying should be the insurance cost of the vehicle, but the differences in the roadsters itself. You could find more satisfaction %26amp; value in the car that you want vs. the insurance dollars you might save.
Here is a link that compares most of the roadsters you're looking at, namely the 2003 Audi TT v 2003 BMW Z4 v 2003 Honda S2000 v 2003 Nissan 350Z v 2003 Porsche Boxster
Hope that helps and good luck with whatever you choose to go with!

My son is selling his money-pit 2000 Audi A4. Any suggestions on reliable, yet "glamorous" alternatives?
My college-age son's 2000 Audi A4 has been a money-sucking vortex from the moment he bought it last year. He has spent thousands in repairs and extras. He wants to sell it and buy another Audi, but he would need partial financing from his dad and me. We will not buy an Audi! What are some suggestions for sporty cars that still are also a good value for the money? My son is selling his money-pit 2000 Audi A4. Any suggestions on reliable, yet "glamorous" alternatives?if you want an audi styling and performace at a lower price and reliability, go for VW
VW is also owned by the same corporation that owns Audi, and i personally find them just as good, if not even better than the audis.
I have bought four VW's myself, and my last one saved my life in an accident. If its a male and hes college bound, i think youd be best off with a VW GTI. They're fun, sporty, glamorous, and can compare to the similiar model audi a3
If you want to stay away from VW/Audi, have you tried Volvo? Yes, volvo. volvo has evolved from the grandma car brand to a new, refined, safe luxury car. They're amazingly fun to drive, have cool safety features, and is pretty reliable.
If your looking for a more stylish ride, go for the Acuras. They're super reliable, becuase they're owned by the same corporatoin as honda, they're stylish, decent on gas, sporty, and flashy all at the same time.
Here are Some specific modesl taht i've found to be great:
VW GTI
VW Rabbit/Jetta
Volvo S40
Volvo S60
Acura RSX/TSX
Acural RL
Acura TL
Lexus IS

04 Audi oil pressure light on due to sludge in the motor is this a common problem?
All services-oill change routine and on schedule04 Audi oil pressure light on due to sludge in the motor is this a common problem?the first answerer is correct, modern oils do not have the sludge factor common in the old days before detergents were common in oils. And your audi is the problem, not sludge. (if someone at audi dealership told you that, trust me, it was b s audi has had at least a 25 year history of oil pump problems in its engines. Audi, is nothing more than a very expensive Volkswagen, and is well known for engine failures (mostly due to oil pump problems) If your oil light is on, stop driving immediately, you will save the engine. Once that light comes on, your oil pressure is almost zero. (this is really bad) you need to get to a shop, and have the oil pump replaced, I don't pretend to be an expert on anything, but I have heard of oil pump problems with the audi for almost 25 years. The manufacturer is known for innovative technology, and doing things that dint always function as designed, long term. If you do not find the problem with the oil light that audi engine is going to self destruct, quickly. get if fixed asap.04 Audi oil pressure light on due to sludge in the motor is this a common problem?Sounds like someone has been using a cheap formulation of oil during service work. Modern oils should not produce sludge in that period of time. I've torn down engines with 200,000 miles that spec'd within original build tolerances and had no sludge.
How do the Audi A4 lights work?
Does anyone know how these lights work; http://www.carpages.co.uk/audi/audi_imag鈥?/a>
Are they all little bulbs or just a tube, I am just asking maintainability wise.
Thanks. How do the Audi A4 lights work?Just a row of LED lamps. Not a tube.
All the car companies are doing it now. It saves lots of power which can be used to power things like navigation systems and all that sort of sh1.
From a point of view of maintainence you can assume that Audi will only sell a whole module containing all the LEDs rather than you being able to change a single LED.How do the Audi A4 lights work?Yes, they come as a complete strip of little diodes. It's not beyond the bounds of possibility to replace one individual diode if your're handy electronically and can source a replacement, but not in the normal run of things.

If an audi a5 and a BMW 3 Series 320i M Sport were to race on the nurburgring, who would win?
to solve a debate, its the 2 litre turbo audi, and the 320i M sport. I say m sport! If an audi a5 and a BMW 3 Series 320i M Sport were to race on the nurburgring, who would win?I would say the 320iM...the Audi may have a bit more horsepower (we dont get the 4-cylinder A5, nor the 320 in USA); BMW has more low end torque (which helps for Nurburgring) and we all know BMW is more about precise and handling then any other car maker :)If an audi a5 and a BMW 3 Series 320i M Sport were to race on the nurburgring, who would win?
There are a lot of variables here, most variable is the driver. If the person trailing just follows the track of the winner and he is in what may very well be the faster car (im in the States too Audi and BMW are the latest -who is better- and the answer is BMW although the Audis probably are a little faster due to power and still not bad...)
.... id say the Audi due to power but im pretty sure the BMW will scrub it off in corners.
I had aBMW and a Volkswagen so im pretty sure what im talking about here.If an audi a5 and a BMW 3 Series 320i M Sport were to race on the nurburgring, who would win?I'd say the Audi because of it will have more speed through the corners and have more speed out of the corners, plus Audi's are just so much more well built than BMW's these days.
And for low end torque, my dad has an A5 and sitting in 5th at about 1500 revs, can floor it and be gone.If an audi a5 and a BMW 3 Series 320i M Sport were to race on the nurburgring, who would win?

Has anyone been reimbursed from the Audi/VW Oil sludge settlement?
I sent mine in in June and all I've gotten was a letter saying they received my paperwork.Has anyone been reimbursed from the Audi/VW Oil sludge settlement?I just called today (I sent in my paperwork in JANUARY) and mine has been approved at 50% and they stated the anticipate I will receive my check within 6-8 weeks. Be prepared for them to find any reason to give you as little reimbursement as possible. I am only receiving 50% because I could not provide proof of two previous oil changes..however my incident happened three months after I purchased the car from a private owner, the car was not due for one oil change, let alone two. I will be finding an attorney.

Brand new Hyundai Genesis or a Used Audi TT Coupe?
I'm planning on getting a new coupe, but can't decide.
Which is a better choice, getting a brand new 2010 model of Hyundai Genesis?
or a used 2000-ish model of Audi TT coupe?
No biases please :)Brand new Hyundai Genesis or a Used Audi TT Coupe?I would without a doubt go for the Hyundai. I have driven the Genesis (both 2.0 and 3.8 with the 6MT) and they are pretty quick, well-handling cars. The Genesis is not your typical Hyundai. They are solidly built, have lots of road presence and come pretty well equipped provided you get some options. You should also know that Hyundai has one of the best warranties out there. The downside to the Genesis is that if you have to deal with snow, the Genesis only comes with RWD as opposed to the Audi's FWD or Quattro AWD. You will be virtually unable to use the Genesis in the snow.
Audis of the past have a poor history of reliability and I personally do not like the design of the TT. I have had a 2010 S5 for 9 months and I have already had a number of reliability issues with it, most importantly clutch problems, to less serious (sound system failure, rattles and creaks, clearcoat coming off rims). I do not doubt that you will experience some problems with the used TT. Take into consideration the TT seats only 2, whilst the Genesis seats 4.
Simply put, the Genesis coupe is a hugely better car than a last (and in some ways current) generation TT. It will without a doubt be much more reliable, faster and better equipped. It may cost a little bit more than a used TT, but it is certainly worth the money. I have yet to have read a negative review of the Genesis Coupe so I strongly recommend it.Brand new Hyundai Genesis or a Used Audi TT Coupe? It depends on what type of Audi TT it is and what type of Genesis you are getting. If the Audi TT is the 225 hp mk1 edition, than go for that. If it is the 180 hp TT than go for the hyundai.Brand new Hyundai Genesis or a Used Audi TT Coupe?none of the above. mazda3 is the best choice. not biased :)Brand new Hyundai Genesis or a Used Audi TT Coupe?

Can I add the audi technology package to an audi s5 that wasn't built with it?
I want the backup camera on the 2009 audi s5Can I add the audi technology package to an audi s5 that wasn't built with it?You cant get the factory unit as it has to be pre-wired form the factory. You can, however, get an aftermarket backup camera that you can mount anywhere, even the same basic location as the factory unit. I don't believe that anyone has come out with the install kit to hook it up through your MMI unit though. So it will most likely have to have an external screen somewhere in the car. I know there used to be a company that played around with the MMI screen from the older A8's to hook up a factory deleted TV unit that uses a coaxial cable (the same as the back up cameras), but I don't know if anyone actually came up with a way to do it. I believe they were based out of the United States too.
Which gas stations is best to use for my 2008 audi?
I just purchase a Audi q4. Wondering which gas stations is the best to fill my car with? I went to the Audi website, I didn't find nothing.
I've going to Shell and BP. I really do not want use BP, Shell is not all over the place as I hope too. If there is no Shell or BP in a area am traveling what other gas station I can go to?
Thanks so MuchWhich gas stations is best to use for my 2008 audi?I am on to my third high performance Audi. Audi always recommend the higher octane petrol for improved performance but I never bother, really don't think it makes a scrap of difference, certainly not noticeable! Have no idea if the Q4 is petrol or diesel as it's not the same category of car as mine and I know nothing about diesel cars!
My advise is to fill up at the most convenient location and forget details like petrol brands!Which gas stations is best to use for my 2008 audi?Where do you live? Always use Premium gas for your car as it is much more cleaner and gives the care more power. If you live in the states, I'd use either Shell or Chevron (:Which gas stations is best to use for my 2008 audi?doesnt matter where you go, just use premium gas.

What is a good Audi that is turbo charged and under 30 g's?
I also want to know some good bmw's that have turbo charged engines that are under 30gs and please include year it can be a old modelWhat is a good Audi that is turbo charged and under 30 g's?Yah get a b5 s4 (1997-2002), I believe only sold in the US from 1999 on. But they have a bi-turbo 6 cylinder engine. You can get a great 6 speed one for like 13-15 grand and with that extra 15 grand you can have an amazing car, faster then nearly anything on the road. What is a good Audi that is turbo charged and under 30 g's?2006-2008 audi a4 2.0t. I just got a 2006 and didn't really think anything of the 4 cylinder engine, but the thing hauls. an a4 will only cost like 24,000 so you could put some sweet upgrades on it to make it go faster, such as cold air intake, exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff.
also an older audi S4, an 05 will probably cost around 25,000 what u loose in looks, you make up with the v8 4.2 liter engine. What is a good Audi that is turbo charged and under 30 g's?go with the 2001-2002 S4...bi-turbo, 250hp stock, quattro, looks good

Why are ther more Audi's on the road in Colorado than any other German brand?
All of the German auto makers offer all-wheel drive models, and they all have excellent performance (except Porsche, it's amazing)
What's the deal? Why are ther more Audi's on the road in Colorado than any other German brand? It might have something to do with aving more dealerships in more cities...I did once read that the Bangles[sic], last time they were on the road in Denver, were stopped and beaten at the end of the night...

Audi 7 Dealerships in 6 Cities
BMW 6 Dealerships in 5 Cities
Porsche 3 Dealerships in 3 Cities

It is weird, isn't it? I am also not sure why that is. If you look around, you will also see that there are more Subarus than just about anywhere else in the country. When I was a kid, it was VOLVO central, but that has kind of died down.
Although Denver gets some bad snows two or three times a year, I never really thought that 4WD was so important. I never owned a 4 WD car when I lived there.
What you might be seeing is the more recent immigrants. They are more likely to trade to Audis because they are less ostentatious than a BMW or Benz.ginos east

Decision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel?
I would like to change my car, but no way I will get a brand new one, so I'm considering a used diesel car for economy, co2 emissions, etc Has anyone owned these models and what do you think is the better deal in terms of maintenance, running costs ??
Many thanks for your advice.Decision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel? We have owned 6 A4's that have served us extremely well.
Not one of them has been in the garage other than for a service and the part exchange value has been marvellous. All have been diesel saloons or avants and the running costs have been relatively low. I have never owned a Honda but have had trial runs and I can honestly say that I would prefer an Audi.Decision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel?
I'd have the Honda. It looks nicer, will probably be more reliable, cheaper to run, and better equipped than the Audi. It also has a much better ride than the very stiffly sprung Audi, and it has one of the few Diesel engines I'd be happy to drive, smooth, powerful and much quieter than the rattly VW/Audi TDi units. It'll probably keep it's resale value better too.Decision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel?years from now, you would be happier with the reliability of the Honda. I promise
Audi A4, A fantastic car and soooo comfortable. I travel up and down the country for work. It makes little noise and I dont know its an experienceDecision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel? The Audi is a high quality car, however there specification is very poor. The Honda has a much higher specification and the engine is bullet proof.
Ja.Decision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel?
I would expect the honda to win on maintenance, fuel oeconomy and lack of pretension. I'd be embarrassed in an audi.
No question about it.........Honda every time.Decision Help me decide a 3 to 4 year old Audi A4 or Honda Accord diesel?
only thing l would say is check over a diesel with great care....if you get a nail...they can be dreadful
Well i know for sure the Audi A4 is verrry expensive to fix and maintain. The after market parts for Honda are far less expensive than the Audi. However you are not really comparing Apples and Apples. If I was in your shoes I would get a Volkswagen Jetta TI diesel the sticker price should be much more friendlier and they are this is the same car mechanically and the Audi and far less expensive. The bad side of that is the Volks uses Audi parts. What is important Money up front or repairing???
Both good but the Honda has less class, really a Japanese Mondeo. The Honda i slikely to be very reliable but would not agree they are cheap to have service.
Personally I would go for the Audi, it will always have some class. the diesel engine is good and will last and is economical.

For best performance in winter conditions, should i get the 2011 BMW 328i xDrive or the 2011 Audi A4 quattro?
I just moved out to the East Coast from California and I am going to be getting a new car. If I want a car that does well in snowy/icy conditions, which vehicle has the better all wheel drive system? For best performance in winter conditions, should i get the 2011 BMW 328i xDrive or the 2011 Audi A4 quattro?Personally, it's either. Audi has been doing the AWD thing longer, but the xdrive BMWs are really nice also, and they do work. For best performance in winter conditions, should i get the 2011 BMW 328i xDrive or the 2011 Audi A4 quattro? The most important consideration for you is to buy the proper tires and drive very conservatively and defensively this winter. Either one of those vehicles will perform very well in wintry weather conditions. Your tire choice is critical. I suggest you go to Tirerack online and do some research on a snow tire. This will work with your all wheel drive system to ensure you have the proper adhesion to the payment. Awd will aid you getting going in poor weather but your tires will aid you in cornering and stopping which are two of your greatest risks in emergency evasive maneuvers in bad weather conditions.
You may be doing just fine but what happens when/if you have to perform an emergency evasive maneuver to avoid someone cutting you off or slamming on the brakes after driving too fast in poor weather. Trust me it WILL happen.
Choose whichever car you can get the better deal on and the one you like the most. Take the money you save and go buy a great set of snow tires (not all season tires and yes there is a difference!)
Drive safe. For best performance in winter conditions, should i get the 2011 BMW 328i xDrive or the 2011 Audi A4 quattro?i had an 06 a4 3.2 quattro and it was awesome in the snow with just all weather tires on it. go with the audi.

How much do Audi q7 running boards cost(Audi manufacture)?
I own a 2011 q7 and wants running boards added on how much will it cost me at the dealership?
ThanksHow much do Audi q7 running boards cost(Audi manufacture)?I can't speak for the dealership's installation prices (which start at $80-100/hr and go up from there), but the factory running boards will run you $770 each + tax.

Should I buy a 2003 Audi a4 1.8T or a 2003 Volkswagon GLI jetta?
I'm having mixed opinions on what I should do. Which one should I buy and why? The A4 is 16,000 with 56,000 miles and the Jetta is 15,000 with 45,000 miles. The Jetta is a 6speed manual and the A4 is a 5 speed but is a 1.8T. The Audi is way nicer inside and seems bigger on the inside versus the GLI which is kind of bland on seems small, especially for people to sit in the back. I heard that Audi's break down quicker, but Audi and Volkswagon are the same thing aren't they?Should I buy a 2003 Audi a4 1.8T or a 2003 Volkswagon GLI jetta?Hi, I had a 2002 Audi A4 1.8 I traded in a few months ago for a 2006 A4 2.0 Quattro. I had good luck with the 2002 (It had 68,000miles when I traded it in), only small standard problems, but all covered under the warranty (I had no problems from 50K miles until I traded it in!). I love the cars.... they drive very stable, in all weather, including New England winters (I live on MA/ NH line)! They feel solid when you are driving it, and all the reviews from edmunds and other reviewers say exactly that. The price seems a little high for the 2003. I would see if you can bargain that down to the 14500-14750 range. I'm sure you'll enjoy the A4 if you decide to go for it!!Should I buy a 2003 Audi a4 1.8T or a 2003 Volkswagon GLI jetta?volkswagens aren't very good. but then again, both cars are made in the same factory so maybe audi's suck too. at least they look a bit nicer.

What kind of glasspack will fit on a 1995 audi 90 if any?
I want it to be louder. i know i'm a douchebag, but how would i do it (fairly cheaply) without drilling holes in the muffler? What kind of glasspack will fit on a 1995 audi 90 if any?I'm not sure where you can find a glasspack made specifically for that model and year, but I do know that they make universal ones that will fit. What's wrong with my P reg Audi Avant automatic gearbox - sometimes it doesn't go into reverse?
Just wondering if it is worth spending several hundred quid on getting it checked out. I get attached to my cars and this one is great, I love it, black leather heated seats, aircon etc. 2.8.What's wrong with my P reg Audi Avant automatic gearbox - sometimes it doesn't go into reverse? You MIGHT have a dirty valve body. A REALLY good technician can drop your trans pan, flush down the valve body with brake cleaner, iinstall a new filter, and then use ONLY genuine AUDI TRANS FLUID. You may have to have the system flushed and filled, but ONLY with AUDI FLUID!! You may have waited too long between fluid changes, but you still have hope!!What's wrong with my P reg Audi Avant automatic gearbox - sometimes it doesn't go into reverse?fluid level, linkage, plug on back of gearbox are all likely causes
Does anyone know where the battery is on a 1998 audi a6?
I have never owned a audi and its very different. I cant find ****Does anyone know where the battery is on a 1998 audi a6?The battery should be under the cowl panel in the center of the vehicle. There should be a cover over that has a picture of a battery on it. If its the old old body style then its under the rear bench seat. There are two phillips head screws that hold this seat in. Take these out and the bench should come right up.Does anyone know where the battery is on a 1998 audi a6?Usually under that big slab of metal over the front part of the car. there is usually a handle that you pull then it pops up. lift the lid and you will find all sorts of pipes, metal items, etc. this is called the engine. then the battery will say 'energiser' or 'duracell' on the side. you will need two 'AA' 1.5v to change.Does anyone know where the battery is on a 1998 audi a6?in the trunk on the right or left side
