Did Audi and BMW play a major role in the Holocaust?

Sources will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Did Audi and BMW play a major role in the Holocaust?Interesting question. Mitsubishi built air plane engines for Japanese fighter planes, Germany's Luftwaffe Air Planes where powered by BMW engines, notice the propeller on the bonnet of today's BMW, it is the propeller, blue skies and clouds emblem. The Luftwaffe was known for Blietzkrieg, which meant "lightning fast attacks." For a while they were unstoppable. Europe and the United States did not have air superiority as they do today. Audi, formerly the Auto Union was a fierce competitor in road racing prior to the war. They aided in Germany's prestige for technology. As a result, German industry produced synthetic oil for it's planes, they had the working predecessor of the U.S. Stealth Bomber but Germany fell before it could get into flight. The short answer to your question is that Hitler's Germany was known for high performance, the German marques made aircraft and rocket engines because they could not race cars and produce them for public consumption. "The peoples" car was a car for the masses, Volkswagen. A side note, Britain's Royal Air force was powered by Rolls Royce and Bentley engines. Saab Scancia was known for high performance aircraft, if my memory serves me right another German company.

Unfortunately, Hitler used the genius of Germany to command war and to exterminate Jews. It is for this reason the technological accomplishments of Germany will forever be overshadowed from 1939-1945 with the acts of a villan. It is ashame that a country the size of the State of Illinois could contribute so richly to society and at the sametime loot and burn its people.Did Audi and BMW play a major role in the Holocaust?
Saab is a Swedish Aeronautics based (historically) company. Saab actually stands for Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (Swedish Aeroplane Corporation). It is not German.

Did Audi and BMW play a major role in the Holocaust? Why would car companies be involved with something Hitler did?

The only thing Hitler has do do with cars is that he ordered Ferdinand Porsche to design a car for the army. If he did not design and built it, he would be killed.

So Ferdinand Porsche created the Volkswagen Beetle, and then he started another company and named it after himself. Porsche.

The Beetle was the war vehicle just like how America uses Hummer's.

Then the Beetle was made for the public because it was great on gas, fun to drive, and cheap. It is the worlds best selling car.
look im jewish and a gearhead and i dont give a damn. theyre both great cars. that said, BMW designed the first mobile killing buses which routed exhaust into the passenger cabin. which is one of the many reasons Audi is better than BMW.

peace.Did Audi and BMW play a major role in the Holocaust?Actually, Hitler designed the VW for the better of the economy of Germany. As for BMW, they produced the tanks for Germany during the war.Did Audi and BMW play a major role in the Holocaust?
